3D encapsulation is a process which transforms
conventionally printed logos, decals and escutcheons into 3-D emblems
of prestige and distinction, providing a powerful branding tool.
The process itself consists of encapsulating a label in a film of
crystal clear polyurethane resin to create a "dome" effect.
The clear film casts a lustre over the surface, magnifying print
and design, giving depth and brightness to colours. Once encapsulated,
the design is completely sealed and protected from all external
exposures throughout the product's lifetime.
The 3-D "dome" effect is extremely versatile
and can be used in unlimited industrial manufacturing and retail
applications, including PCs, mobile phones, cars, household appliances,
and machine tools. Quite simply there is no limit to the uses of
3D encapsulation - its possible applications are only limited by
the creativity of its users.
