Thermal Transfer Printable Labels
Worldmark offers an extensive range of label products for applications which require variable information. This can be in the form of variable barcodes, serial numbers or other information that changes from label to label. Thermal transfer printing is the most important print technology used in the vast majority of print on demand applications as it comprises three key elements required in most solutions:

By the careful formulation of a thermal transfer topcoat, the correct selection of thermal transfer ribbon and printer, our result is a thermal transfer label solution with very high levels of print quality combined with outstanding abrasion and chemical resistance. These solutions can be produced on thermal transfer printers over a wide range of print speeds and energy (temperature) settings.

Thermal Transfer Ribbons
Worldmark offers a wide range of thermal transfer ribbons. These are carefully formulated and selected to match the label surface properties thus ensuring optimum print and process conditions are achieved. Our team of thermal transfer technologists have many years of experience in developing solutions for a wide range of applications and will engage with and support customers with any specific application testing required. Our ribbon solutions can be used with 200, 300 and 600dpi printers.

Printers
Worldmark supplies thermal transfer printers from Zebra and other leading manufacturers to meet the most diverse and demanding label printing requirements – from complex high-resolution product labels to basic-design packaging labels. We have a close relationship with Zebra and are a member of their Zebra PartnersFirst program. We are also a member of their ZASP (Zebra Authorized Service Providers) network. Our team of technical experts will help specify the best printer for your application, or work with your existing installed printer base to help specify the best label solution.

Software
Worldmark supplies and develops label design and printing software packages that are among the most feature rich and powerful packages available. Designed for speed and simplicity, these software packages can be tailored to meet customers’ individual needs and requirements. We supply industry standards such as BarTender (Seagull Scientific), CODESOFT (Teklynx), ZebraDesigner™ (Zebra) and other leading products. A key strength of Worldmark is our ability to design tailored solutions for special applications such as integration into MRP (material requirements planning) systems. Scanners
Bar code labelling helps error proof and speed up data management. Whether the need is simply reading a bar code and transmitting information to another system or validating and storing information, Worldmark can provide the solution. Track & Trace
Our SecureTrack system is an in-house web based tool that enables the tracking of labels with unique serial numbers and codes. Developed to meet the needs of major brand owners’ requirements for brand protection, this system can be used for any product identification application where there is a need to know where a consignment is and where it has been.

Applicators
Label application and/or print & apply is a proven method of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturers labelling processes. Worldmark offers a range of apply and print-apply systems that meet many application requirements. These range from basic packaging label application to high accuracy vision based placement systems.

In conjunction with many printed circuit board assembly customers, Worldmark has designed and developed Apply-mark 610 to print and apply labels to boards with high print resolution and placement accuracy.
